4 bread slices
1/2 c water
2 eggs
1 lb ground beef
1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp snipped parsley
1 tsp salt
1/4 crushed dried oregano
dash of pepper
Soak bread in water for 2-3 minutes. Add eggs & mix well. Add ground beef parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, oregano and pepper and mix well.
With wet hands form meat mixture into meatballs (recipe makes about 24). Brown slowly in 2 tbsp hot salad oil.
Add meatballs to spaghetti sauce and simmer loosely covered for 30 min.
